RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Important return terms

  • Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
  • Rugs may be returned within 20 days of delivery if eligible and returned in original condition.
  • Vintage and one-of-a-kind items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Original shipping charges, excess shipping fees, customs, duties, taxes, and international import fees are non-refundable.
  • Custom, made-to-order, resized, and specially produced items are final sale once submitted into production.

We want you to feel confident in your Forma Strata purchase. Return eligibility depends on the product category.

Rugs have a return process when eligible. Vintage and one-of-a-kind items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Rug Returns

Eligible rugs may be returned within 20 days of delivery.

To begin a rug return, please contact info@formastrata.co and we will provide return instructions and a return label, when applicable.

All returned rugs must be unused, undamaged, and returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Original packaging should be used whenever possible, including protective wrapping, labels, and any original materials.

Return Packaging

Rugs must be properly wrapped and protected for transit.

If the rug was not removed from its original packaging and the packaging is still in good condition, you may use the original wrapping.

If the original packaging is no longer usable, the rug must be wrapped securely in heavy-duty plastic or another durable protective material suitable for freight or carrier return.

Please remove or fully cover any old shipping labels before returning the package.

Return Shipping

Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

The cost of return shipping will be calculated before the return is completed and may be deducted from the final refund.

Original shipping charges, excess shipping fees, customs, duties, taxes, and international import fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

Returned items are inspected once received.

If a product or its packaging is not returned in acceptable condition, Forma Strata reserves the right to deduct an amount from the refund to account for any loss in value, damage, cleaning, repackaging, or handling required.

Once the return is delivered and inspected, please allow 5-10 business days for the return to be processed.

Approved refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment unless otherwise agreed.

After the refund has been processed, your bank or credit card provider may require an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Vintage Final Sale

All vintage and one-of-a-kind items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

This includes furniture, artwork, lighting, decor objects, sale items, and any internationally shipped vintage orders.

Due to the unique nature of these pieces, please confirm measurements, condition details, and shipping requirements before purchase. Additional photos and information are available upon request.

Custom Orders

Custom, made-to-order, resized, or otherwise specially produced items are final sale once submitted into production.

This includes products made to a customer's specific size, color, shape, or design requirements.

Custom orders cannot be canceled, modified, returned, exchanged, or refunded once submitted into production.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you believe you received a defective product, please notify us as soon as possible.

Please include photos of the product, packaging, and a brief description of the issue so we can review the claim.

Very rarely, items may be damaged during shipping. If there is visible damage to the packaging at the time of delivery, please note the damage with the delivery carrier and notify us immediately.

Photos of the damaged packaging and product may be required to process the claim.

Resolution Options

Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, Forma Strata may offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Repair of the product, when possible
  • Replacement of the product
  • A price adjustment
  • A refund

If a replacement item is no longer available, we may offer a similar product at the same price point or issue a refund.

Inspection of Claims

If no defect or damage is found upon inspection, Forma Strata reserves the right to deny the claim.

In that case, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

Forma Strata reserves the right to deny any claim or future order if fraudulent activity is suspected.
